Imaging with a heavy camera or a telescope with heavy rear glass elements (eg. Takahashi FSQ) poses special balance requirements. Anyone who has tried imaging with an FSQ and a heavy large format camera knows this all too well. The solution is creating tube rings that lift the OTA high enough above the dovetail plate to allow full motion of the OTA without the focuser (and attached Robofocus brackets) hitting the dovetail plate or the saddle.

**Please note that black rings shown in the photos above were an early prototype and are used to illustrate the functionality of the rings with the OTA moved all the way forward. Note that there is still a small gap between the dovetail plate and the bottom of the focuser and attached Robobracket adapter.
